Cancellation Policy The Writers' League of Texas appreciates your desire to participate in its literary programs. If there are not enough participants for the event to occur, a refund will be issued to each paid participant unless the event was paid by a Letter of Credit. If an event was paid for by a Letter of Credit, the expiration date will be extended for one year. If a participant wishes to cancel his or her participation in an event, a refund may be issued only if the League has a waiting list and is able to sell that space at the event. Note: Separate cancellation policies are in effect for conferences and retreats. Please check registration forms for details regarding these events. Letter of Credit: In an emergency and at the discretion of the Executive Director, the League may issue a paid attendee a Letter of Credit, with a one-year expiration date, toward a future event. Inclement Weather Policy: If the Writers' League of Texas determines travel conditions to be hazardous, the League will cancel or postpone an event. No refunds will be issued, however, the League will issue a Letter of Credit good towards another event and valid for one year. |
