In the beginning...
Chris Pettey, Clayton Newman, Art Arizpe, Larry Rubin and Rick
Pekkala founded Banderacom as INH Semiconductor in November, 1999 and
incorporated in December 1999. Mr. Pettey, Mr. Newman, Mr. Arizpe
and Mr. Rubin were all senior members of the technical staff at
Jato Technologies, a successful networking silicon start-up now
owned by Intel Corporation. The founders also held previous
senior positions at Intel, Compaq and Motorola. Rick Pekkala was most
recently a senior member of the technical staff for Centaur Systems and held
senior engineering position at Motorola prior to co-founding INH.
In August, 2000, INH-Semiconductor took on the official name of Banderacom
as an emerging fabless semiconductor team focused on success in the InfiniBand
semiconductor arena.
